What’s an “affiliate commission”?
As an affiliate, We may receive a small commission if you click on one of the links on the website and buy the product(s) We suggest without paying anything extra. These commissions assist us in covering the expenditures of the numerous people we hire to give you the most up-to-date and accurate information, server expenses, design expenses, and content production.
Is Open2Study biased as a result of these affiliate commissions?
Our work is sometimes sponsored by an affiliate commission from the service provider when readers opt to purchase the goods that our team recommends due to our rigorous research, analysis, interviews, and testing. We won’t gain any revenue if customers return their goods because they are unsatisfied or because the advice was poor. There isn’t any motivation for the staff to choose subpar products or give in to pressure from service providers—quite the reverse, in fact. That arrangement, in our opinion, is quite equitable and keeps my team and I focused on putting the needs of my readers first.
Remember, We wouldn’t ever recommend our users anything that we won’t use ourselves.
